The existing building stock has been analysed and the requirements and possibilities for advanced low energy retrofit then evaluated. The studies have produced a building typologies that provide basic data for the evaluation of the renovation potential of the existing building stock. They are also used for the definition of retrofit strategies and to consider envelope characteristics of specific building types.
